“I spent 4 Diwalis building ExtraMile Play, and this 1 brought our biggest milestone yet (yes, we are seed funded now!).
There’s something about Diwali that always made me reflect on my journey.
Years ago, I left my corporate job because I couldn’t watch people burn out anymore.
I wanted to fix something simple:
👉 help teams actually enjoy working together.
To solve this, I started with my own savings, with no fancy plan.
The early days were tough:
→ 4 months with zero clients
→ COVID forced us to go digital
→ Built ExtraMile Play from scratch in 2022
But slowly, things changed.
📍 Teams bonded over our games.
📍 We crossed 100 clients.
📍 Grew to teams working countrywide.
This Diwali feels different because we just closed our seed round. (more details on this coming soon!)
It’s not just about the funding.
➜ It means more teams will get to play together.
➜ More managers will connect with their people.
➜ More workplaces will feel less lonely.
Diwali has always been about new beginnings for me.
This year brought the validation that solving this problem actually matters.
